Sweden-based
game developer Solidicon announced that it has entered into an agreement with
Boss Media, one of the world’s leading independent software providers of
complete online gaming solutions within poker, bingo, casino and gaming
management systems.
Under
the agreement, Solidicon will provide Boss Media and other GTECH subsidiaries
with virtual racing games and slot games for online wagering. Solidicon has
developed a technology to transfer its revolutionary real-time 3D game content
from its land-based gaming platform to the online gaming environment. The first
game from Solidicon and Boss Media to be launched online during 2009 is a
virtual horse racing game featuring a realistic 3D environment with five
betting modes and a Jackpot pool.
P-A Gustafsson, Solidicon’s CEO, commented, “We are pleased
to announce Boss Media as our new platform partner. They have professional,
dedicated coworkers and a great online gaming platform for Solidicon’s virtual
racing and slot games.”
"We are looking forward to incorporating Solidicon’s
virtual racing and slot games on our gaming platform. The addition of these new
innovative games from Solidicon will further strengthen our overall product
portfolio,” said Henrik Fagerlund, Instant Games Manager at Boss Media.
Solidicon was founded by three game developers Daniel
Hansen (CTO), Jonas Wikström (Creative Director) and P-A Gustafsson (CEO), each
having more than 10 years of industry experience. Their company has developed a
game engine with the capacity to show detailed 3D environments in real-time.
The technology also makes it possible to create an endless number of outcomes
for game events such as virtual horse racing. Furthermore, it allows customers
to customize the product to make it more personal, such as dynamic in-game
advertisement spots.
