ATRONIC Austria’s
operations plant in Gross St. Florian is one of the first organizations in the
country to receive ISO 9001:2008 certification.
ISO
9001:2008 is an internationally recognized standard for an
organization’s internal Quality Management System (QMS) issued
by the International Standards Organization (ISO). The new ISO 9001:2008
standards include a focus on customer satisfaction and process
management.
vThe
three-day audit was conducted by two auditors of SystemCert on Nov. 5,
18, and 19. SystemCert provides management system registration services to ISO
9001:2008 and ISO 14000 companies. SystemCert has performed 150 audits since
its inception.
Auditors commended the
Gross St. Florian team for its quality assurance program, and issued a special
commendation for the degree at which the entire team – from management to
warehouse workers – make the standards a part of their daily routine.
“We are extremely proud of this certification and what it says about
our commitment to quality in all our product-related processes,” said ATRONIC
Gross St. Florian plant manager Herwig Bretterklieber.
“The team has enthusiastically adopted best business practices to meet the highest new ISO
standards, ensure continuous improvement, and exceed customer expectations.”
ATRONIC
contracts SystemCert to perform annual ISO 9001:2008 audits. ATRONIC is proud
to note that the the auditors found no non-compliance issues during this latest
audit.
