No matter what volume of paper a casino needs to securely dispose of the Model 1201PF shredder from Security Engineered Machinery of  Westboro, Mass., can handle it.

Able to accept paper up to 12¼ inches wide, this shredder’s heavy-duty cutting head reduces paper to cross-cut ¼-inch- by ½-inch shreds. Other features include automatic start/stop/reverse/shutoff, with an LCD panel providing status reports for all operations.

And it’s compact, occupying a footprint of only 20 inches by 20 inches and standing only 46 inches high.

An automatic sheet feeder gives the machine the ability to accept stacks of up to 1,000 sheets at a time, yet a bypass slot allows single sheets to be fed manually without interrupting the automatic feeder. Able to operate constantly without overheating, this feature boosts productivity by freeing employees from hand-feeding and metering large batches of paper. And an automatic press saves time and labor by compacting shreds for fewer bag changes.

The Model 1201PF employs the same technologies as shredders SEM provides to U.S. embassies and military bases worldwide, says Sales Manager Lisa Gauvin. And the unit is supported by more than 100 authorized service centers around the world.
