North American Video, after completing a major security installation at Wynn Resort in Las Vegas, has completed installation of a video surveillance and security system valued at approximately US$7 million at Wynn Macau.

“We were extremely pleased to have been selected by Wynn Resorts to install a sister system at their newest location — the Wynn Resort in Macau,” said company President Cynthia Freschi, “Casino development in Macau has been on a significant rise over the past four years, so for North American Video to be involved in the opening of the Wynn Resort has been a tremendously rewarding experience.”

The state-of-the-art security and surveillance system was manufactured by Honeywell Video Systems and designed by M. Malia & Associates of Northfield, N.J. Honeywell and M. Malia also worked hand in hand with North American Video on the recently completed Wynn installation in Las Vegas.

Wynn Macau contains 200 table games and 380 slot machines on 100,000 square feet of gaming space, requiring a surveillance and security system of close to 2,000 cameras on a state-of-the-art networked digital recording system. The system also integrates with food, beverage and retail points of sale and with the cage and coin-exchange areas.

With offices in Las Vegas, New York and New Jersey, North American Video is a leading supplier of security systems design and installation services. Gaming clients include, in addition to Wynn Resorts, The Borgata, Isle of Capri Casinos, the Seminole Hard Rock Casinos, the Tropicana, Harrah’s, Showboat, Resorts, MGM Grand, the Golden Nugget, Caesars, Boyd Gaming and the recently reopened Beau Rivage in Biloxi, Miss.

The company also supplies and services schools, corporations, retail, banking and financial institutions.
